If you’re looking for some thrills while on your cruise with family and friends, then you may want to consider booking your next trip at sea on the Norwegian Bliss.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship has officially begun its service to the Caribbean and is among one of the first cruise ships in North America to offer excitement and thrill on a racetrack at sea.
Guests will have the opportunity to compete on what the cruise line staff call the “largest racetrack at sea” with Norwegian Bliss’ go-karts.
The two-level electric car racetrack sits on the top of deck 19 with amazing views while guests race up to 30 mpg, as reported in Cruise Fever.
The price per person is $9.95, according to the Norwegian Cruise Lines’ website.
“See the ocean blur by as you take hairpin turns on the largest race track at sea,” a statement reads on the cruise line’s website. “Get ready for a thrilling ride on this two-level competitive track while putting your driving skills to the test. Blue skies above and turquoise waters below.”
And the fun doesn’t stop there for thrill seekers. After the go-kart ride, guests can enjoy open-air laser tag or race side-by-side on the Aqua Races waterslide, which extends over the edge of the ship and loops down to the deck below. The ship also features a mini golf course, a water park, casino, and more.
Norwegian Bliss began trips to the Caribbean from Miami earlier this month and offers seven-day cruises to the Eastern Caribbean with calls to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Nassau, Bahamas through Mar. 30, 2019.
In April, the ship will cross the Panama Canal, returning to Los Angeles for select sailings to the Mexican Riviera before moving to Seattle to meet her sister ship, Norwegian Joy, who will make her U.S. debut on April 25, 2019.
