One thing about Rihanna, she’s going to make a power move with or without our approval. While the #RihannaNavy is still patiently waiting on the album to drop, she’s decided to grace us with a new venture.

During an interview with Closer, the star opened up about life in the pandemic. On top of running her brands, she revealed that she has found joy in cooking at home. So much so, she will soon release a cookbook sharing some of her favorite dishes from around the Caribbean.

“I love what I do, but I am always busy and quarantine gave me the time to do things I wouldn’t always have been able to do,” Rihanna said in the interview. “Watch an entire box set in a day, cook, go for walk. It’s important we do little things we enjoy and are kind to ourselves.”

Deeper into the interview, Ri Ri shared that she loves foods from her homeland and eating different types of fresh fish. She also included mac and cheese, Shepard’s pie, and rum punch among her faves, too.

“At first it was strange because I am not used to being still but during quarantine, you have no choice but to be still. Then you start to realize during lockdown you are stuck there with your own thoughts and your imagination and it really helped my creativity blossom.”

There is no mention on when the cookbook will be available, but you can guarantee that when it is, it will likely sell out.
