If you don’t want to travel far this summer, why not plan a staycation?
Staycations are a great way to explore the city you live in, or even a surrounding city.
“Summer and early fall are great times to have a staycation,” says Dipra Jha, Assistant Director & Scholarly Associate Professor, School of Hospitality Business Management, Washington State University Carson College of Business.
Jha goes on to say, “However, weekend staycations have become extremely popular year-round with hotels and resort curating packages to attract people seeking a quick getaway within or not too far from their community.”
The personal-finance website WalletHub released its 2022 Best & Worst Cities for Staycations report. The company compared over 180 cities across 44 key indicators. Parks per capita, restaurant-meal costs and the number of vaccinated residents were all factors.

How to stay safe on a staycation, during the pandemic
“Doing things outdoors is the best during this time.
