Great Smoky Mountains: Uncorked

Located in Bryson City, North Carolina, this route takes passengers along the Great Smoky Mountains. It is a full-day, all-inclusive, adult-only experience. Guests are treated to cheese samplings, a surf and turf meal prepared fresh, dessert, and four samples of selected wines. The cost of the experience is $120 per person.

 

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad: Grape Escape

This two-hour train ride ventures through Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Northeast Ohio. During the experience, passengers will enjoy six wine selections and light appetizers. Pricing starts at $80 per person. The next experience is scheduled for October 27.

Adirondack Scenic Railroad: Beer and Wine Train

Departing from Union Station in Utica, New York, this experience also provides live music. The cost of a first class ticket is $45, but this doesn’t include wine or beer. First-class guests are treated to gourmet hors-d’oeuvres and table service during this almost three-hour experience. Beer and wine must be purchased separately.

 

Napa Valley Wine Train

This is probably the most popular wine train experience in America. There are several experiences to choose from, including a lunch or dinner train, each lasting around 3 hours. The wine train package includes train fare, a multiple course gourmet meal, a welcome taste of a Napa Valley private label wine, and a tour and tasting at specified wineries. Packages start at $149 per person.

Napa Valley Hop Train

A new twist on the famous Napa Valley Wine Train, this option features local craft beers. The cost starts at $75 per person. Passengers can expect a 2-hour rail tour of Napa Valley, bar bites, and 2 pints of Palisades local craft beer.
