Start your solo travel experience with a solo staycation at one of these five new hotels. Learning how to travel on the solo tip takes some practice. Starting small by going to a coffee shop with a laptop or book can be a great start. Dinner or the movies is a smart second step. After doing some activities alone and before taking the plunge of flying or road tripping alone, a solo staycation is a good middle step.
These hotels are just opening, so grabbing a room within the first month is ideal. Imagine being the first person to stay in the hotel room of your choice. The service and hospitality will likely be impeccable too, as newly opened hotels are always eager to show off their new digs.
Plan a whole 24-hours around the solo staycation at one of these new hotels. Leave in the early afternoon and enjoy brunch. Then, plan an activity before checking into the hotel. If you’re looking for relaxation, visit the hotel’s spa. Or, stay in for the night and order room service. But if you’re looking for fun, be sure to research the city’s best hot spots and transportation to-and-from the club or bar.
A solo staycation at one of these new hotels can offer a great stepping stool to a longer trip down the road. Plus, it give new solo travelers the opportunity to get to know the hometown better.
