Meek Mill is highly upset with The Cosmopolitan Hotel, a luxury hotel in Las Vegas. “If you come from our culture, you should never step foot in the cosmopolitan hotel, they just really racist as hell,” the rapper tweeted to his millions of followers Saturday evening.

His tweet was in response to the hotel allegedly banning him for “trespassing.”

In a video that has garnered more than 800,000 views as of Sunday afternoon, there’s an incident between Meek Mill and what appears to be hotel staff.

“How can you tell me I’m going to be locked up for trespassing?” the rapper asked.

A man speaking on the hotel’s behalf told him, “Here’s the thing, we’re a private property and at this time with the information we have, we’re refusing to do business with you. We have a right to do that.”

“But what information?” Meek Mill asked. “You’re telling me that if I’ll be arrested if I don’t leave. If I walk upstairs and get something to eat I’ll be arrested for what? […] What did you officially print test me for?”

Another video posted on the rapper’s Twitter account reveals that staff didn’t seem to know why Meek Mill was refused from entering the facility.

“We’ll get you that information […]. I wasn’t there. I don’t know. This is way bigger than me,” a Cosmopolitan staff person stated.

“The cosmopolitan hotel and it’s a few other hotels that be doing this to black entertainers because they don’t want too many blacks on they property! Vegas notorious for this too it’s not just me,” Meek Mill tweeted.

Meek Mill continued that he “needs lawyers ASAP” and is refusing to remain quiet.

Attempts made by Travel Noire for a response from The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas have been unsuccessful.
