If you’ve ever wanted to travel around the U.S. in one go but thought it would be too expensive, we have good news! Wanderu, a travel booking platform, has planned a trip around the country for less than $1,000. 

That’s right, you can travel around 6,586 miles, venture through 27 states and experience different Amtrak lines without completely blowing the bag. 

The trip lasts seven days and you’ll be able to travel the Atlantic and Pacific coasts as well as the northern and southern borders.

This epic experience starts off in Boston and then takes you south to Washington, DC while passing through 7 states. 

You’ll then be taken to New Orleans then Los Angeles. The journey between these two popular cities will take about 46 hours and you’ll be passing through 4 states along the way. From Los Angeles, you’ll head to Seattle and Oregon. 

From there you’ll embark on the Amtrak Empire Builder from Seattle to Chicago while passing through 5 other states. From Chicago, you’ll head to Cleveland while passing through Indiana along the way. From Cleveland, you’ll end up in Albany and lastly, from Albany to Boston. 

At the end of the trip, you would’ve passed through 27 states and made your way around the United States.
