This is not a drill. Jose Cuervo, the popular Tequila brand, has introduced an unlimited tequila train experience that travels through Mexico.
With the experience, guests will venture from Guadalajara to Tequila, Mexico while drinking as much tequila as their liver can handle.
In addition to the open bar, you will be able to take a tour of the La Rojeña® Distillery. This is one of America’s oldest distilleries, and they have produced Jose Cuervo’s liquor for over 250 years. You will see the entire process up close and personal from the agave process to strolling through the barrel-stacked halls.
If this isn’t enough to convince you, there is a Margarita bar on-site and you can watch a Mexican cultural show.
The train runs every Saturday, and there are two time options. You can choose from the sunrise or sunset rides, each lasting around 10 hours for the total experience.
There is currently a promotion on tickets for this experience. You have three ticket options to choose from with the lowest being around $111. All three include a round-trip train ride from Guadalajara to Tequila, an open tequila bar and snacks on the train, as well as an expert tequila tasting. You really can’t beat that.
If you aren’t quite ready to head to Mexico for this experience, you can do a similar and less authentic version in Napa Valley. The Napa Valley tequila train is a 3-hour journey that offers a tequila tasting and a signature cocktail. You will also partake in a four-course dinner while a Flamenco guitar serenades you.
Guadalajara is in Western Mexico. It is most known for its tequila and mariachi music.
If you haven’t already started looking for your flight, then I don’t know what else to say to convince you.
