“According to our Dallas County Medical Examiner, there are a total of 6 fatalities from yesterday’s Wings over Dallas airshow incident,” tweeted Clay Jenkins, the CEO of Dallas County. Then added that authorities were still investigating.

In a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration, the crash happened at around 1:20 p.m. Saturday when a Bell P-63 Kingcobra and a Boeing B-17 crashed into each other at the Wings Over Dallas Airshow.

Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson stated there were no reports of injuries on the ground. However, debris from the crash landed on the airport grounds, a highway, and a nearby mall.
