Royal Caribbean International will dock its Majesty of the Seas cruise ship at its new homeport of New Orleans in January 2020. The cruise line will embark on seven-night excursions from the self-proclaimed “City of Yes,” making stops in The Bahamas and at Perfect Day at CocoCay, which is Royal Caribbean’s newly revamped private island.

Hopeful island hoppers can currently book cruises departing from New Orleans aboard Majesty of the Seas through April 2020. Departures between May 2020 and April 2021 will be open for booking the week of July 22.

Royal Caribbean’s Empress of the Seas ship will continue departing from Miami but is adding Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands as a new destination. The cruise line will sail six- to eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean routes that are scheduled to stop in Mexico, Belize, the Bahamas, and CocoCay. Empress of the Sea cruises departing from January through April 2020 are available to book now. The vessel’s 2020-2021 schedule will be announced and available to book in the coming weeks.
