Scotchie’s Jerk Center
This open-air restaurant is one of the most popular spots on the island to get authentic jerk. The grill is always fired up and ready to serve your favorite jerk dishes like chicken, pork and fish. Add in some rice and peas or sweet potatoes to make it a complete meal.
Mom’s Homestyle Restaurant
This local gem has been open since the 80’s. Located near the town square in Ocho Rios, Mom’s serves some of the best finger licking, native dishes around.
Miss T’s Kitchen
The most famous dish on the menu is the oxtail stew. A close runner-up is said to be the curry goat. There are no walls in this restaurant, but that’s what makes it feel even more authentic.
