What You Need To Know About Traveling This Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend kicks off the busy summer travel season, and more than 41.5 million Americans are expected to take advantage of the holiday by traveling this year.
According to AAA, 2018 will be the fourth consecutive year that travel will increase for the holiday period, with more than 36.6 million travelers expected to hit the road for the three-day-weekend despite higher gas prices, a nearly 5% increase from last year. More than three million Americans will head to airports this Memorial Day weekend, up by 6.8 percent from last year.

So where are Americans going during the holiday weekend? For international travel, Europe is at the top of the list with many Americans spending the holiday in Rome, London and Dublin, For those traveling stateside, the top destinations are below:
