Islands like Martinique offer some of the same beauty and romance of France, but with a distinctly Caribbean foundation and beach vibe that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. The French Caribbean has a style of its own, and if you’re based in one of the cities that has a flight deal to Fort-de-France, you could be in Martinique before you know it.

The lowest fares we spotted were out of New York City, with Norwegian offering round-trip, basic economy fares for as little as $209 for travel between October 2018 and March 2019.

Atlanta locals should be on the hunt for round-trip flights that are priced in the high 300s for travel on select dates between June 2018 and March 2019, just keep in mind that the affordable flights include layovers.

Boston-based travelers can score a deal on a flight to the French Caribbean for around $500 round-trip for travel in June, with similar rates available for those departing from Chicago (starting at $479) and Washington D.C. (starting at $471) for dates throughout the year. We didn’t have much luck finding deals to Fort-de-France from cities on the West Coast, but the $209 non-stop flight from NYC may be worth booking if you can score a deal to the city from your departure point.

Like the other Caribbean islands located in the Atlantic, Martinique has a hurricane season in the fall, so you’ll want to take the proper precautions when educating yourself on travel during that time, but the deals for the beginning of 2019 are almost too good to pass up.
