If you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity for Giving Tuesday (November 27), JetBlue is sending 50 do-gooders along with their companions on a free trip in exchange for some community service.

JetBlue started their #CheckInForGood Campaign initiative in 2017, offering participating volunteers the chance to select where they wanted to give their time. This year, however, they’re switching things up. The JetBlue team will keep the destination secret until the morning of departure.

“We chose Destination Good as this year’s location to reinforce that doing good can happen anywhere and anytime — be it in the air, on the ground, or even in your neighborhood,” JetBlue’s director of corporate social responsibility, Icema Gibbs, said in a statement.

The flight to the surprise destination will depart from on November 27 and return November 30. Throughout the three days, volunteers will engage in daily service activities focused on youth and education, community and the environment.

Gibbs goes on to say, “Our overall goal is for the volunteers to have a great time and to do something good. At the end of the day, if we had a great time, but the trip wasn’t impactful, then we didn’t meet our goal. We want to transform the lives of individuals and communities that we are going to help.”

Interested philanthropists can apply online or at pop-up kiosks open in New York City and Los Angeles now through October 26. Applicants will be asked to fill out information about their volunteer experience, and write an explanation in 150 or less on why making time to help others is important to them. Winners will be notified by November 20. Before you send in your application, make sure you can take care of your flight to and from JFK, as JetBlue will not provide travel accommodations to New York City.

Good luck and even if you don’t land this volunteer opportunity, head over to Giving Tuesday’s website to sign up for volunteer events happening near you!
