Actress and singer Halle Bailey gave fans a glimpse into her family vacation, sharing a heartwarming beach selfie with her 6-month-old son Halo.

Posting the cute shot on Instagram, The Little Mermaid star delighted followers with a rare look at her baby boy. In the image shared on her Instagram Stories, Bailey holds onto her headscarf while cradling little Halo. The bright-eyed baby steals the show, looking directly at the camera while playfully grasping his sand-covered foot.

Halle Bailey’s Family Getaway

The vacation selfie appears to be part of a family getaway, with Bailey also sharing solo shots of herself enjoying various beach activities. In one image, she dons a scuba diving wetsuit and goggles by the sea, while another shows her striking a pose on the beach in a star-print bikini and frilly white skirt. The singer also shared a mirror selfie featuring a stunning yellow strapless mini dress. This latest social media update comes weeks after Bailey and her boyfriend, rapper DDG, formally introduced their son to the world.

Earlier this month, the couple shared their first photos of Halo’s face on Instagram. Posing with the infant in glamorous vacation shots in Italy, Bailey captioned that post, “Halo’s first time in Italy.”

The “In Your Hands” singer welcomed Halo with DDG in late 2023, announcing his birth in early January with a touching Instagram post. “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote.

Since becoming a mother, Bailey has been open about her experiences, sharing the joys and challenges of parenthood. In a candid Snapchat video in April, she revealed her struggles with postpartum depression, saying, “It’s hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out.”

Despite the challenges, Bailey’s love for her son is evident. In a Mother’s Day post this year, she shared a video montage of Halo’s birth and her first weeks of motherhood, captioning it, “My first Mother’s Day. The greatest love I’ve ever known.”
