We’ve seen the headlines on how COVID-19 has affected the travel industry. Airlines took a major hit when international flights drastically decreased, and borders everywhere closed.

Southwest Airlines is now looking to attract more flyers by offering free companion passes to those who purchase flights by Sept. 24.

This limited time offer requires that you first register for a Southwest Rapid Rewards account, before you can take advantage. Once you do, you must purchase a flight by Sept. 24 and fly by Nov. 15.

After you complete your travels, your Rapid Rewards account will then be credited with a companion pass that can be used from Jan. 6 to Feb. 28. The companion will still be responsible for the taxes on the flight, which can be as low as $5.60 each way.

To take advantage of this deal, remember to first sign up for a Rapid Rewards account, if you don’t already have one. To learn more, visit the following link.
