Right now, those in or near New York City can fly to Paris for as low as $295 via SWISS Air.

There are several other airlines offering low price flights from the New York area into Paris. You can use Skyscanner to find the lowest prices. It seems this particular sale is for travel later in the year, mostly November and December. You can find flights out of JFK and EWR.

Some routes may depart from one NYC airport but return to a different one. Be mindful of that when booking. Those flights will also be a few dollars cheaper, around $279.

There will be plenty of entertainment, markets, and concerts to find in the European city.

A pretty cool thing that French museums do is open for one night during the year and remain open throughout the night. The best part about La Nuit des musées is that it’s completely free.

You can find a host of free art shows happening around as well. One that you definitely must check out is Belleville Artists’ Open Studios.  Every May since 1990, the artists in Belleville open their studios to the public for four days and over the years, this has become a major artistic event in the east of Paris. More than 50,000 visitors are expected this year.
