Events To Check Out During Miami Art Week 2020

Art lovers, all is not lost as Miami Art Week is set to move forward. While events may be scaled back and you will need to mask up, you will still be able to get your fill of artistic expression that you may be missing.

If you have plans to be in Miami from Nov. 28 – Dec. 6, we found a few events you may want to consider popping into.

French artists J.Leo and Léo & Steph will make their U.S. debut at Markowicz Fine Art

Located in Miami’s Design District, Markowicz Fine Art Gallery is known for highlighting the works of International artists from all over the globe. During Miami Art Week, the gallery will showcase work from French-Brazilian Pop Art couple Léo & Steph, and Parisian photographer J. Leo.

The gallery will offer free public viewings every 45-minutes, and they are limited to 10 people per time slot. The viewing will include a glass of champagne and a narrated tour of the entire gallery. You can reserve your time slot here.

Live Painting by Tiago Magro at Buya Izakaya + Yakitori

On Dec. 1, Wynwood gallery and restaurant Buya Izakaya + Yakitori will host a cocktail and art reception featuring Brazilian-born artist Tiago Magro. The night will include a live painting by the artist, live entertainment, and a few fun surprises.

Shelborne South Beach + Museum of Graffiti + Gustavo Oviedo

Pop into popular South Beach hotel Shelborne South Beach for an evening of art and drinks. On Dec. 2, from 6-8 pm, guests can meet artist Gustavo Oviedo, discuss his exhibition, and enjoy cocktails from Q Mixers.

Copper Door B&B + Jacqueline Gopie
