Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas provide an experience where every facet of the property is meant to embed wellness, from its free bike rentals for guests, to meals made from organic local farms and holistic spa treatments at Lahari Wellness Center. Not only can guests enjoy the hotel’s current retreat packages but now you can design your own custom retreat experience at this serene getaway.

Cala Luna was inspired by the landscapes of Costa Rica as it’s houses provide a variety of offerings for guests who are seeking to be in touch with mind, body, and spirit. These amenities are what earned the hotel the title of Most Innovative Wellness Hotel from the Global Beauty & Wellness Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious honors in the beauty and wellness business. This honor recognizes exceptional standards in personal care, cosmetics, and food supplements within the hospitality industry around the world. Some of the hotel’s main retreat activities include sound baths, holistic yoga, live music, body painting, drum circles, magical cacao ceremonies, a detox program, and even a children’s mindfulness program. The hotel also provides a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher for guests of 4 to 10 years old through arts and crafts, meditation, nature conservation, and of course yoga.

Cala Luna grows organic fruits and vegetables for use at the hotel at La Senda, a nearby 74-acre farm and labyrinth. La Senda also hosts nightly farm-to-table dinners featuring seasonal produce. With no fixed menu, the menu is ever-evolving based on the day’s harvest. True to the hotel’s holistic lens, diners can pair their farm-to-table dinner with activities including: guided meditation or yoga in the labyrinth; tours of the organic garden; a Kirtan concert; a sound journey; ancient healing cacao ceremonies, a temazcal or inipi ceremony, Wim Hof breathing session and an ice bath therapy. La Senda also offers a Secret & Sacred medicinal garden experience for guests to learn the magic of the farm’s endemic ingredients; a “WannaBee” honey tour; and cooking classes.

Cala Luna grows its fruits and vegetables at their own farm named La Senda, a 74- acre farm and labyrinth. La Senda also offers guests farm-to-table dining experiences highlighting seasonal produce. The menu is ever-evolving and is based on the day’s harvest. And just like Cala Luna, La Senda also has holistic experiences within the labyrinth along with the tour of its organic garden. Another exciting feature La Senda offers is its “Secret & Sacred” medicinal garden experience where guests can learn the magic of the farm’s ingredients.
