You can fly from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Vietnam’s most popular cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, for as low as $398.

The dates range from September through mid to late November. Use Google Flights to find a date that is perfect for you.

Vietnam is one of the cheapest Southeast Asian countries. You can find hotels and accommodations for under $20 per night.

If you head to Hanoi, be ready to fill your belly with some of Vietnam’s best cuisine. Sit on low stools lining sidewalks while you slurp authentic Pho for super cheap. Stop in one of the many cafes and try Vietnamese egg coffee. Your taste buds will be pleasantly surprised.

Make your way by motorbike taxi to Hanoi’s Train Street. This photo worthy neighborhood houses a train track right through the middle of it. The train passes three times each days and it’s so close to homes that locals must pack up anything remaining outside to avoid it being taken by the train. It’s a site to see.

Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Take an overnight cruise along beautiful Ha Long Bay.

Heading to Ho Chi Minh aka Saigon? This capital city is rich in Vietnamese history. To experience what it was like for soldiers during war, take the tour of the Cu Chi underground tunnels. You can actually crawl along the same path that was used during the Vietnam War.

After you have immersed yourself in Vietnamese history, check out the Ben Thanh market. One of the earliest surviving structures in “Saigon” it is well-known for souvenirs, handcrafts, clothing, and other goods including local eats.

No trip to Saigon is complete without seeing Pham Ngu Lao Street. Located in the western edge of District 1, this is where you can find nightlife, bars, and great people watching spots.

Before booking your trip, be sure to check out the Visa requirements for American passport holders traveling to Vietnam.

Act fast, this deal won’t be around long!
