Here Are The Cheapest Times To Visit Disney World & Disneyland This Year
No matter your age, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the magic of Disney World in Orlando, Florida or Disneyland in Anaheim, California. But for many people, this dream destination is difficult to make a reality due to the exorbitant cost of park tickets.
With rising costs to visit both Disneyland and Disney World, it’s getting harder and harder to plan a family vacation to the happiest places on Earth. You can expect to pay well over $100 per person, per day and that often doesn’t include additional add ons and special event tickets. This also doesn’t include the cost of local hotels which average $400 per night. Add in dining out and endless souvenirs, and the price tag has quickly become comparable to a European vacation.
But if you are determined to make your Disney dreams come true, we have some tips that may help. To snag a discount at either of these theme parks, there are a few weeks throughout the year that historically offer slightly lower prices. Experts recommend going the second week of May, or the last week of August through the second week of September.
According to theme park insiders, Disney World in Florida is actually cheaper to visit during the summer months if you don’t mind enduring the season’s soaring temperatures and humidity. Also, if you have some flexibility in your vacation schedule, try to visit the parks during the weekdays to avoid the crowds. Weekday visits may also get you lower rates on resort hotels.
As always, try to book your hotel and flights early to snag good deals and help offset the ticket prices at the parks.
