The recent assassination of Iranian general Qassem Suleimani, an order from President Donald Trump, has rapper Cardi B considering leaving the United States.

Cardi took to Twitter to announce that she would be filing for her citizenship in Nigeria.

While memes emerged about a possible WWIII, Cardi tweeted,

Back in December,  Cardi traveled to both Nigeria and Ghana to perform at the Livespot X Festivals.

It’s unclear how serious her tweets can be taken, but Mrs. Abike Dabiri Erewa, NIDCOM chairman under the Presidency took to Twitter to enthusiastically encourage her to apply.

Cardi B then asked her followers what Kulture’s Nigerian name would be and fielded advice on how to convince Offset to relocate, too.

During her trip to Nigeria,  Cardi B visited an orphanage in Lagos, Nigeria and donated supplies to the less fortunate, including diapers, bottled water, and feminine products for women at the orphanage.
