What’s better than visiting wine country? Getting paid to do so.
Santa Maria Valley, located between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties and a mere three hours away from Los Angeles, is offering visitors to the region a $100 gift card.
To qualify, guests must have a reservation for at least two nights and fill out an online form. The “stimulus” is limited to the first 500 new bookings. Upon check-in, the lucky recipients will find the gift cards waiting in their hotel rooms.
The card can be redeemed at more than 50 local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and 34 tasting rooms. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead as several businesses remain closed due to pandemic restrictions.
Covid-19 protocols will be enforced including face masks and social distancing in all public places. Restaurants are currently open for outdoor dining or takeout, and only bars offering dining are allowed to serve customers.
