The Melanin Enterprise App is known to be the city guide for people looking to explore “All Black Everything.”

Founded by EMichele Paul, the mobile app helps conscious consumers discover the best Black-owned restaurants, shops, hotels, spas, bars, and entertainment in cities across America.

“We recognize how necessary it is for our communities’ sustainability to provide a mobile app that can connect the consumers to black-owned businesses in their local neighborhoods, in another state on vacation or business, and everything in between,” said Paul. “Investing your dollars in the Black community creates safer communities for our families to live in and creates jobs.”

The app has three major features that make it easier to find local Black-owned businesses, create strong bonds within the local community, and increase communication with Black-owned businesses and customers that aims to enhance the customer experience.

Once you open the app, users will be able to locate the nearest Black-owned businesses within 100 miles. Members will be able to check-in, read ratings and reviews, locate the business by GPS, contact the company directly, find business hours, and book reservations.

In addition, the app allows locals to connect through the “RealTalk” function where members discuss ideas, organize movements, and host meetups.

“We have a voice and it is powerful and formidable and we no longer have to borrow space on a mainstream social network to be heard. Plus, it is a known fact that many of the larger social networks don’t always show many of the posts on the pages that we follow. On Melanin Enterprise, we encourage openness and transparency,” said EMichele.

Melanin Enterprise can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
