As we continue to forge through the pandemic, outdoor dining has become a lifesaver for many restaurants across the nation. As the temperature begins to cool, it is also the best place to sit back and enjoy an amazing meal.

If you are headed to Austin, or you live there and need new places to try, here are some of the city’s best outdoor/patio-friendly restaurants.

Sit under a large heritage tree on the outdoor patio, while you indulge in Asian fusion cuisine. The restaurant also offers a full bar with amazing cocktails.

When: Tuesday – Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 5-10 p.m.

Known for their fresh baked breads, sausages, and sandwiches–while there are multiple locations across Austin, the Linc location is the only one currently open and with patio dining.

Sit outside on the patio or dine in the beautiful oak garden, as you indulge in “funky” Mexican favorites. This Austin staple has been in existence for more than 30 years.

If you love seafood, fresh oysters, and cocktails, this is the place to be. The open-air patio is the perfect, especially as fall begins to roll in.
