This past weekend, the Bahamas loosened tourist restrictions so travelers can have a stress free visit.

Tourists who booked travel when a PCR test and negative results were required, will have to continue to show results until November 6th, 2020.

As of Sunday, November 1st, 2020, The Bahamas will enforce all tourists to take a COVID-19 RT PCR test five days before arrival as well as apply for a Bahamas Health Travel Visa. On day 5 of being in The Bahamas, travelers will have to take a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test. While vacationing, travelers will also have to complete a daily health questionnaire online. When in public, travelers must always social distance and wear a face mask.

Beginning on November 14th, 2020, travelers will be required to obtaining mandatory COVID-19 health insurance when applying for a Health Travel Visa. The travel insurance will cover tourists for their entire stay in The Bahamas.
