Calling all Airbnb enthusiasts! The homestay company has released its most-liked listings on Instagram for 2022.

With rising living costs and inflation, many people are thinking about affordability as they scroll through Instagram. It’s no surprise that some of the most liked posts on Airbnb’s Instagram for 2022 include some great value stays, like a cozy mountain cottage in Spain or a glass hut in a forest in Brazil.

The Airbnb Instagram account’s user-taken photos that were posted between January and December 2022 served as the basis for the analysis of the most popular listings. And the results will definitely surprise you because they’re certainly far from all “luxurious.” What makes them so wonderful, though, is that they all deliver the unique experience that Airbnb promises its patrons.

And despite recent pushback from patrons in these past few months — with complaints ranging from low quality of service to prices that are higher than even the most luxurious hotels, and even accusations that the company is causing an increase in gentrification — the homestay company seems to enjoy more popularity now than ever before.

With that in mind, here are some of last year’s most popular user-submitted content, including offers and the occasional splurge.
