Summer is almost here and if you’re anything like us, planning fire looks is a must when going on vacation. This year, we’re prioritizing getting pieces from African designers and brands from the diaspora.

Whether you’re traveling with your bae or your girls, here are 5 African designers to shop for your summer getaway:

OMÔL

This “cool girl” mixes traditional and modern Africa in it’s pieces. Not only are the pieces absolutely gorgeous, but they’re sustainably made by a team of artisans in Cameroon. Each piece comes with a tag stating the name of the person who made the garment as well as the location. OMÔL plans on producing its pieces in other African countries.
