For the first time ever, Refinery29 is taking over major cities like Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Toronto, to bring the world 29 immersive rooms of creativity, culture, and imagination, through their Expand Your Reality Tour.

Find community amongst other creatives and visionaries while exploring the endless possibilities in the realms of art, activism, style, and technology in 29Rooms. If imagination, inclusivity, impact, and individuality are part of your core values, this is the place for you.

Now in its fourth year, the creators of Refinery29 sought to collaborate with creatives like Lena Waithe, Yara Shahidi, and Kali Uchis, nonprofit organizations like the ACLU and GLAAD and other emerging visionaries to bring creative ideas to life with interactive workshops, live performances and more.

This year’s interactive experience features artwork from Georgia artist Nneka King, known for her Ain’t I A Woman exhibit, examining the history that is Black women’s current existence. Look out for DC visual artist Trap Bob in the Art Park, a geometric playground featuring five artists from North America. Attendees will love her cartoonist, artistically appealing graphics.

Creative Yvette Mayorga is also one of the featured artists. Her “Dreaming of a Dream” exhibit serves as a “reminder of this land’s history, the labor of my family, of all immigrant families who contribute to this country,” ad is equipped with toy soldiers, toothbrushes, pinks cars, and baby angels.

The Candy Land theme acts as a conceptual framework to express the conflict taking place at the border. “I sit here on this seat and all my ancestors sit behind me as I flip my hair and say #fuckice,” she said. Pre-order a print sample of her exhibit and a portion of the proceeds will go towards Families Belong Together.
