Resources for L.A. Residents Amid Wildfires

Last week, two wildfires broke out in Los Angeles, California causing heartbreak and devastation among thousands with many being displaced from their homes. 

Despite these challenges, organizations are stepping up to support those affected.

You can donate to the American Red Cross wildfire support by: 1) Visiting their website. 2) Calling (800-733-2767) 3) Texting REDCROSS to 90999.

Where To Donate

Community Organization Relief Fund (CORE) is assisting undocumented and immigrant communities impacted by distributing cash vouchers, hygiene kits and masks.

Where To Donate

Donations to the Wildfire Response Fund help support low-income individuals, including those experiencing homelessness.

There is temporary housing available through AirBnB and evacuation shelters across the city.

Contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Disaster Distress Helpline for emotional support.

Stay informed on fire locations, air quality and road closures through the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA). The DCBA also has resources to address price gouging.
