Krispy Kreme is offering a sweet treat to reward individuals who have already received their Covid-19 vaccine.

The popular doughnut company and coffeehouse chain is giving free doughnuts to anyone who can show proof of vaccination. This means that if you’ve had at least one of the two Moderna or Pfizer shots or one Johnson & Johnson shot, you’re eligible to receive a free Original Glazed doughnut at all 369 Krispy Kreme shops across 41 states.

The promotion runs every day for the duration of 2021. Customers must present a valid COVID-19 vaccination card to qualify. Vaccination stickers will not be accepted.

But this is not a one-time offer. Customers can return for one doughnut a day for the rest of the year. In addition, Krispy Kreme is showing love to the health care workers and volunteers administering the vaccine by delivering doughnuts to their respective vaccination sites. The company’s employees will also be allowed up to four hours of paid time to receive the vaccine.

“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible, and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer, in a statement.

Krispy Kreme is known for its special freebie promotions on occasions like Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day. Those who haven’t received the vaccine still have an opportunity to enjoy a doughnut on the house. To help customers get through these difficult times, Krispy Kreme is offering one free medium coffee and a free Original Glazed doughnut, no purchase necessary, every Monday, March 29 through May 24.
