Spain is all about food and where else than the capital to enjoy some of the best tapas in the world.   One of the best things about Madrid (besides the good food) is how cheap it is to enjoy the city compared to other popular European destinations.

Try visiting one of Madrid’s many parks, like Casa de Campo or Retiro; head to Puerta del Sol; or tour outside the Catedral de Almudena. All of these activities can be done for free.

Right now, there are a few flight deals ranging from dates late this summer to spring of 2020 that will have you in Madrid for less than $300 round-trip.
