Although the islands were hit hard by Hurricane Irma in 2017, they have made a quick recovery and are up and running for tourists.

Saint Thomas is said to be the cosmopolitan hub of the U.S.V.I. with far more than a day’s worth of activities to participate in. The island is most known for its gorgeous beaches and snorkeling.

Magens Bay is the most popular beach and hosts the largest crowds. If you are looking for a spot with fewer people, try Coki, Sapphire, or Morningstar Beaches.

Dozens of step streets cut through nearly all the hills rising from the Charlotte Amalie harbor area; the 99 steps are the most popular. The picturesque stairway has colorful flowers on either side making it an easy choice for a photo.

Finally, to get a fantastic view of the island from above, head to the world famous Mountain Top.
