Diana Ross said a TSA agent violated her at a New Orleans airport on Twitter Sunday morning.

Ross, who performed at the Jazz and Heritage Festival this past weekend, tweeted, “OK so on one hand I’m treated like royalty in New Orleans and at the airport I was treated like s**t.”
She went on to clarify that Delta Airlines and their staff had nothing to do with her treatment and that TSA made her want to cry.

“Its not what was done but how, I am feeling violated,” Ross tweeted. “I still feel her hands between my legs, front and back ( saying to me it her job,) WOW!! really mixed emotions I always like to see the good things but not feeling good right now.”
Ross tweeted several hours later that she was feeling better.
NOLA.com reports that TSA issued the following statement:
“TSA is committed to ensuring all travelers are treated with respect and courtesy. TSA is aware of concerns presented by Diana Ross about her screening experience at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport this morning.
“Initial review of CCTV indicates that the officers involved with Ms. Ross’s screening correctly followed all protocols, however, TSA leadership will continue to investigate the matter further. We encourage Ms. Ross to reach out to TSA so we can work with her directly to address her concerns.”

Ross’ allegations against the TSA agent comes just weeks after a detailed report by ProPublica revealed that full-body scanners in airports frequently give “false alarms” on Black women’s hair, an action some women say is discriminatory.
Black women have complained that their hairstyles, which include afros, braids and locs, have been singled out during the security screening.
