Last week, customs agents heard a strange noise coming from some luggage, so they decided to check it out. When they opened it, they discovered a baby leopard. You know, those vicious but regal creatures with spots usually found in Africa and Asia known to pounce on you at any moment? Yes, those animals.

The creature was only a month old when he was discovered in a grocery basket at Chennai Airport in India. The man was traveling from Bangkok and was immediately detained. “A 45-year-old Chennai-based man Kaja Moideen who works in Kuala Lumpur has been arrested and an investigation is on,” Customs Commissioner Rajan Chaudhary said. Authorities said Moideen was pretty vague while being questioned and authorities are trying to figure out if he is a member of an international smuggling ring. “He says he was supposed to hand it over to someone at the Chennai airport,” an officer said. “We made him wait, but no one came.”
