If traffic from Manhattan to JFK is adding unnecessary stress to your travel plans, starting March 25, the aviation company BLADE may have a solution to cut down on your commute time and your travel stress. If you enjoy an adventure (and feeling like a boss) and you are up for an exhilarating ride, this could be your new favorite mode of transportation.

In what is possibly a ploy to compete with United’s helicopter transfers from the city to it’s Newark hub, BLADE will be offering 5-minute helicopter rides from Manhattan to JFK on weekdays from 7 am to 7 pm. All you need to get in on this exciting new option is $195.

According to blade.flyblade.com, all you have to do to book your private transfer is simply select your desired curbside arrival time (for BLADE to JFK) or commercial flight arrival time (for BLADE from JFK), and an itinerary will be created for you. And once you arrive at the airport? A BLADE vehicle will be waiting to transport you and other passengers to your departure terminal (limit two terminal drop-offs per vehicle). Or you may choose their Meet & Greet service if you prefer a private vehicle with a member of their C/X team to assist with baggage.

BLADE transfers will depart from the BLADE Lounge West at the West 30th Street Heliport on the river side of 12th Avenue near the newly-opened Hudson Yards complex.
