By Travel Noire

Visiting a big, sprawling city has its perks, but there’s something so special about jetting off to an island where you’re surrounded by sea and sand. Thanks to several flight deals we just spotted to the island of Antigua, your tropical getaway could be here before you know it.

Book your tickets now to Antigua, with nonstop flights starting at $339 from New York City for those flying on American and JetBlue. Low fares can be found beginning in August, but if you want to avoid possible storms during hurricane season, the flights in January are ideal.

There are countless flights for the same price if you’re leaving from Washington D.C., and American has similar prices on flights to Antigua from Boston, Denver and Baltimore.

If you haven’t been to the Caribbean in the fall, the region experiences a hurricane season that ranges from small showers to major storms, so always be aware of what is happening in a Caribbean destination when booking between August and November.
