Summer’s not over yet so Amtrak is helping you extend those warm-weather vibes with a two-day sale that includes 50 percent off all September fares. With no blackout dates, you could even score a cheap, last-minute Labor Day vacation.

Under the sale, which takes place on August 16 and August 17, short journeys like Seattle to Portland ($18 one way) or Chicago to St. Louis ($16 one way) are extra affordable. Coastal jaunts from Los Angeles to Portland offer plenty of scenery and can be napped for just $61 one way. East Coast commuters who plan ahead can secure a ride on the high-speed Acela between New York and Washington D.C for just $89 one-way, less than half than what you’d pay for a one-way flight.

There are just a few trains that the sale doesn’t apply to, including the Capitol Corridor, Hiawatha Service, Keystone Service, Pacific Surfliner, and the Pennsylvanian While the Pacific Surfliner, which connects Los Angeles and San Diego.

No promo code is needed to take advantage of this deal. Simply visit Amtrak’s website and begin booking for the discount to be automatically applied. Don’t procrastinate though, the sale only lasts two days and deals are first-come, first-served.
