There’s a new pop-up experience in downtown Chicago where women are celebrated.
The five floors of dreamland for women, known as WOMANISH, was created by sisters Danyelle and Dionna Gray.

Highlighting important topics like black girl magic, and mental health; these two sisters have created a first of its kind experience through more than a dozen interactive exhibitions.
“Our mission is to create safe spaces for women from all different backgrounds to connect with others while creating a sense of community in an environment designed and imagined just for them,” a statement reads on the WOMANISH website.

Danyelle and Dionna collaborated with women who were already pushing the barrier of experiences in Chicago to develop WOMANISH as a movement that breaks single-definition stereotypes of being a woman and celebrates various womxn’s perspectives through the interactive art of experiences.

WOMANISH opened to the public on Sept. 3 following specific COVID-19 guidelines to ensure a safe and culturally energetic experience.
Tickets are now on sale at WeAreWomanish.com but you only have until the end of October to enjoy to enjoy the Instagrammable pop-up museum.
Attendees will enter into a ticketed exhibition composed of multiple exploratory room activations; in a space imagined and built by artists.
