A new giveaway by the Canada ℞efresh Program is giving Americans the chance to win a free annual park pass, according to Travel and Leisure.

It’s called the Parks Canada Discovery pass and holders will be able to use it to access over 80 Canadian parks like Banff National Park, Glacier National Park, and Jasper National Park to name a few. There are 4,000 of the passes up for grabs, each having a value of $113.

In a statement to Travel and Leisure, Gloria Loree, Destination Canada’s Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy, said, “We’re next-door neighbors — and we want to welcome back our American friends with access to places we know will lift their spirits and send them home with more than just a memory, with that good feeling you get after spending time at an old friends’ home.”

“So yeah, we have the lush forests, endless coastlines, towering mountains and spectacular lakes — but we have more than that. We have the ability to help Americans refresh, connect with nature, and take the time to deepen their appreciation for the richness that exists within these beautiful spaces.”

Interested American travelers can enter to win one of the Parks Canada Discovery passes at https://us-keepexploring.canada.travel/refresh. But hurry, as entry closes July 31 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Only individuals 21 years of age and older are eligible to win.

In addition to the year-long pass, one lucky winner will also receive a Dream Nature Sabbatical, a “custom, tailored sabbatical experience” valued at $20,000. The experience will include all accommodations, excursions, and transportation as well as a food stipend and high-end travel gear from quality Canadian brands.

Canada is currently allowing vaccinated Americans to visit, and there is no pre-arrival testing requirement. However, travelers must provide certain information via the ArriveCAN website or mobile app within the 72 hours prior to their arrival in the country.
