This year, music lovers had to come to terms with canceled music festivals, concerts, and live performances due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ray Smith, a music lover and tech veteran, saw the disappointment in those who had been waiting all year to see their favorite musical artists perform, and came up with a solution.

Ray Smith, Founder Of BeApp

BeApp was created with music lovers in mind. This live streaming platform brings the concert to you, no matter where you are in the world.

This Black-owned business works with artists and allows users to tune into their faves’ live performance. From hip-hop to pop and electronic music, BeApp connects music lovers directly with artists they love and gives the opportunity to discover new artists.

This past summer, the live streaming app teamed up with Coca-Cola to bring performances from artists like DJ Khaled, Miguel, Steve Aoki, and more. The partnership also raised money to donate to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement towards COVID-19 efforts.

According to Smith, “#BeApp was designed for digital connection through a shared love of live music, and people need that connection more than ever.”

You can download #BeApp here and follow on social media to see when your favorite artist will be performing.
