A new festival celebrating Black music is coming to Dallas. TwoGether Land is a two-day festival that will take place in Dallas’s historic Fair Park during Memorial Day weekend.

Twogether Land is the latest addition to ONE Musicfest’s (OMF) lineup. In 2023, more than 100,000 people attended ONE Musicfest – a concert that fostered community and inclusivity. OMF is now bringing this energy to Dallas and introducing TwoGether Land as the sister festival.

“From day one, our motto has been unity through music. It’s not just about the melodies; it’s about bringing people together,” says J Carter, founder of ONE Musicfest. “TwoGether Land is more than a festival. It’s a celebration of diversity, culture, and the unique spirit of the Southwest.”

After a nationwide search, organizers chose Dallas because of its rich history, diverse cultural scene, and influence on neighboring cities. Despite its impact on the region, organizers say there is a gap in cultural representation in the region, and the festival is a way to fill the void.

“As the mayor of Dallas and as a huge music fan, I am thrilled to welcome this exciting two-day festival of live performances, art, food, and fun to Fair Park,” Mayor Eric Johnson says. “Dallas is an ideal city for events like TwoGether Land presented by ONE Musicfest, and I hope to see it become a staple in our culture scene for years to come.”

What To Expect At TwoGether Land

TwoGether Land is all about embracing and celebrating the host city’s local culture. Organizers collaborate with radio stations, creatives, influencers, and more to authentically represent Southwest culture.

“We want TwoGether Land to feel like it belongs to the Southwest, to Dallas. It’s not just an expansion [but] an integration of the rich cultural tapestry that defines this region,” J Carter adds.

R&B, hip-hop, and Latin artists will grace the stage. Lil Wayne, Summer Walker, Latto, Jeezy, That Mexican OT, and Dru Hill are just some of the artists who will take the stage across the two-day event.

“Atlanta can’t have all the fun,” says J Carter. “This is a call to the Southwest region to join us, celebrate with us, and show the world the true essence of our music and culture. TwoGether Land is our collective voice, and all are welcome to [participate] in this journey.”
