TikTok has been known for sparking trends like the best restaurants to visit around the world and showing the #SoftLife. It’s quickly become the go-to app for finding out what’s happening in the world.
Fall is the perfect time for traveling to new destinations as the summer crowds have died down and prices are generally lower. Travel insurance site InsureMyTrip recently analyzed hashtags on TikTok to see which states in the U.S. are the most popular this fall.

Florida takes the top spot
Based on InsureMyTrips’ analysis, Florida took the number one spot as the most popular state for fall travel. TikTok videos of people in Florida during the fall have over 1.8 million views. It’s also the home of Disney World, which has been a popular destination, especially after Serena Williams announced she would be visiting in the coming weeks.
Second, on the list is another southern state — Tennessee. Videos featuring the popular state have been viewed over 1.4 million times. Visit from mid-October to early November for views of beautiful fall trees at the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.
