Low-cost Icelandic airline WOW air is expanding in a big way, and the company is celebrating its new routes to India with amazing inaugural flight deals.

Beginning this December, WOW will operate flights to New Delhi from Washington D.C., St. Louis, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, New York (EWR), Detroit, Chicago and Boston. Those that want to be one of the first to try the new routes in December will find one-way flights starting between $299.00 and $339.99, with flights dipping to $199 one-way in early 2019.

Flights from the United States to popular cities in India are notoriously pricey, with tickets normally costing more than $1,200 for round-trip economy airfare throughout most of the year. WOW’s arrival in India will make the country much more accessible for budget travelers since much of India is affordable once you’re in the county.

The bargain flights are as basic as they come, and they don’t include a carry-on, checked luggage, in-flight meals, or itinerary changes, but with round-trip flights to India going for less than $500, you’ll have more than enough cash left over to pay to check your bags and to buy food while onboard.

There’s no word on how long the inaugural flight prices will last, so to book your winter trip to New Delhi, visit WOW’s website here.
