Las Vegas is one of the most prominent tourist spots in the United States. From New Year’s Eve to spring break to Labor Day, the city gets millions of visitors per year. Between gambling and partying, there is plenty to do. However, it looks like the city is taking a different approach to keep travelers coming.

Since she dropped Bodak Yellow, Cardi B has been on the move and has no plans of stopping anytime soon. The 25-year-old just announced a Vegas residency at the Palms Casino Resort as part of a series at a new club called KAOS. The Palms spent $690 million on renovations featuring new state-of-the-art technology to enhance performances with a rotating 360-degree DJ booth.

Set to open in April, artists like Above and Beyond, G-EAZY, Kaskade and Skrillex are also set to have residencies at the new nightclub.

Most Vegas visitors grab tickets to see veteran residency holders like Brittney Spears, Mariah Carey or Celine Deion but newcomers like Cardi are moving in to steal the show. Earlier this month, Drake signed a major $10 million contract for a residency at the XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Las Vegas Casino and Resort. “Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some stuff,” Drake said during his 30-minute set at the Wynn earlier this month. “But I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lotta chances to see me.”

Lady Gaga performed in her first Vegas show this earlier this month at Park Theater at the Park MGM resort. Recently, Jennifer Lopez said goodbye to her residency in Sin City. Jenny from the block had a record-breaking finale at Planet Hollywood, bringing in $1.43 million in ticket sales.
