European Travel in April for Every Budget

With colder temperatures behind us, Daylight Savings upon us and floral blooms all around, spring is asking us to leap forward.

Booking a trip is a great way to celebrate the change of season. In order of most to least expensive flights, attractions and food, here is a list of the best European cities to visit in April. 

April is prime time to visit Amsterdam as it's when they host most of their outdoor activities. Expect 12 degrees Celsius/53 degrees Fahrenheit weather and festival hopping to keep you busy. 

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Exploring landmarks and mild, 20.5 degree Celsius/69 degree Fahrenheit weather go hand in hand when you're an art and history lover. 

Athens, Greece

Nearly 21-degree celsius/70 degrees Fahrenheit weather in April makes the Amalfi Coast a must-see city for spring. Picturesque mountain sides add to the views here.

Amalfi Coast, Italy

A diverse set of cultures add to Spain's cultural landscape, where days in April are 22 degrees Celsius/72 degrees Fahrenheit. Centuries-old attractions are a draw.

Seville, Spain

Accommodations and attractions are most affordable and enjoyable in April. Outside of the crowded summers, it's 15 degrees Celsius/65 degrees Fahrenheit and walkable.

Vienna, Austria

In this island's capital city lies the perfect combo of cultural attractions and relaxation. Water lovers rejoice for 18 degrees celsius/68 degree Fahrenheit weather. 

Valletta, Malta

The second least warm city of the bunch, during April, Dubrovnik has a medieval charm recently captured by Game of Thrones. Days are 15 degrees celsius/65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Culture captured via museums and events are on display in Budapest where attractions are plenty. The weather is typically 15 degrees celsisus/59 degrees fahrenheit.
