U.K. Now Requires Mandatory COVID-19 Test For Incoming Travelers
Jade Robinson • Jan 11, 2021
As COVID-19 cases spike around the world, the United Kingdom has implemented a new testing policy.
All incoming passengers will have to provide a negative test result taken within the last 72 hours from the beginning of their travel journey. Failure to do so may result in a $678 fine.

Travelers arriving from the country’s “non- open” list will have to adhere to a 10-day quarantine upon arrival. This plan comes as a new strain of COVID-19 is being watched for further outspread.
Those who have recently traveled through Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana in the last 10 days before arriving, will also be banned from entering England.
