NYC Restaurant Week runs from July 22 to August 16. It is the time of year where you can try the restaurants that have been on your wishlist for months.

With almost 400 restaurants in all five boroughs and an array of cuisines (we’re talking Mediterranean, Asian, Italian…etc.); it can be hard to narrow down your choices without expert advice.

The top chefs in NYC share their NYC Restaurant Week wishlist with NYC & Company, revealing the places they wanted to hit up.

Here are the restaurants on their list:

Vinatería

Vinatería is an amazing example of what the power of women can do, and it’s right here in Harlem. Chef Mimi and proprietor Yvette are a powerhouse team, creating consistently great Italian and Spanish food with great vibes. I can’t it to see what they’ve got in store for NYC restaurant week — I know it’s going to be delicious,” said by Marcus Samuelsson, the chef at Red Rooster and Ginny’s Supper Club.

Babu Ji

Babu Ji is the most interesting and delicious Indian restaurant in NYC. I am always inspired and come away planning to add more color to my dishes,” says Serena Bass, chef at Lido.

Indochine

Indochine, because who would ever turn down a chance to go there — wonderful food and atmosphere and usually several friends dining in the shadows,” also said by Serena Bass, the chef at Lido.

Tribeca Grill

Tribeca Grill offers an amazing dining experience, and it’s a New York classic! It’s always a good option for Restaurant Week”, said by JJ Johnson, the chef at Henry at the Life Hotel.

Restaurant Soogil

“Restaurant Soogil is a hidden gem on East 4th Steet, just a couple blocks from Noreetuh. Every time I go, I make sure to order to glass noddles, mackerel, and foie gras. If you’re up for getting a little bit of everything, go for the tasting menu,” said by Chung Chow, chef, and co-owner at Noreetuh.

Dining during restaurant week will give you the option of two-course prix-fixe lunches for $26 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $42.

Beverages, taxes, and tip are separate.
