Although most French food is rich, you won’t find that in Japan as the Japanese do not normally indulge in heavy, buttery type foods. Some of the menu items include such things as cream croquettes, uni shumai dumplings, and their: egg rice. Although this is an upscale restaurant, it is not formal.

Udon Yamachou

If you are looking for a place to have a nice lunch, Yamachou is perfect.  The food is great and they even offer music to listen to while you are dining. The menu includes traditional noodles, as well as tempura udon and duck udon. Although this isn’t an upscale restaurant, it is nice and the food is scrumptious.

Sushi Tomita

Few people visit Tokyo without feasting on sushi, the most popular Japanise food in the world. Although sushi restaurants can be pricey and busy, even in Tokyo, there are some great places to get sushi that won’t break the bank. Sushi Tomita serves some great sushi.  Here you can eat at a counter or a private dining room with a reservation.

Nodaiwa

Nodaiwa is a traditional Japanese restaurant known for its delicious eel. This eatery is historical and fancy, as well as pricey, though not extreme. The food is delicious and you’ll get an authentic taste of Tokyo flavor. It is also located close to Tokyo Tower in case you want to pay a visit to that attraction before dinner.
