Opened in 1886, Crescent Hotel is known as one of the most haunted hotels in the U.S. Once a cancer hospital, guests have reported sightings of over a dozen ghosts, including Michael, a stonemason from the building’s original construction, and Theodora, one of the hospital’s ill-fated patients.

Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast Museum, Fall River, Massachusetts

This bed and breakfast is the actual home where Lizzie Border’s family was murdered in 1892. Today, the house is a bed and breakfast as well as a museum dedicated to the family. Guests are reported strange sightings much as mysterious scents and doors opening and closing on their own.

Dalhousie Castle, Scotland, UK

Built in the 13^th century, this hotel is home to dozens of suspected ghosts that roam the property. It is alleged that one ghost, Sir Alexander Ramsay, was starved to death in 1342 by William Douglas and has wandered the grounds ever since.
